How We Serve

Due to the mobile and street-based nature of Freshwave Ministries, all of our volunteers interact directly with the less fortunate in their own environment. Providing this level of familiarity, comfort and credibility leads to developing trusting relationships. Trust is a key factor in addressing the complex issues behind poverty, homelessness, unemployment, and substance abuse. We don’t judge them but rather treat them with respect and consider them our street family. Every person who comes to the Freshwave Ministries bus has a story. We take the time to listen, comfort, and give advice, as needed.

The help that you provide for us from Freshwave Ministries is the closest some people come to God in a long while.   Everybody is blessed that comes here.  The recipients and the volunteers from the good will and kindness.

Everything is great!  No complaints. Soup is really good and the coffee – you can’t complain about that.
I got a really nice blanket last time and I am using it a lot.
